Privacy Policy

VanDerLinden Productions (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a web-design studio based in Orlando, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect through vanderlindenproductions.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it short and plain because our data practices are simple.
What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through our contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name (optional)
- The message you write us
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider also automatically logs standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) in its server logs for security and to keep the site running. We don’t use this to identify you.
We do not require accounts, we do not process payments on this site, and we do not set our own advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about the project or question you contacted us about. That’s it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We don’t share your information for marketing. We do rely on a few trusted service providers to operate the site and the contact form, and your submission passes through them:
- Netlify — our website host and the provider of the contact form. Your submission is stored in our Netlify dashboard and emailed to us. (Netlify processes this data on our behalf as our service provider.)
- Akismet (Automattic) — an anti-spam service. Every contact-form submission is automatically checked by Akismet so we can filter out spam.
Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading this page does not send your information to any font or content-delivery provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request).
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our ordinary business records, and we delete them periodically.
Your choices — reviewing, changing, or deleting your information
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve sent us at any time. Just email ethan@vanderlindenproductions.com and we’ll take care of it.
“Do Not Track” signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Our site does not track your activity across other websites over time, so there’s nothing for us to change in response to a DNT signal. We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities across different websites when you use our site.
Children’s privacy
Our site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the “Effective date” above.
